Weewilldoodle for Canon Image Nation Summer ‘08 event. Mark and I met up with Pao and Nelz in Boracay Station 1, who we found doodling the fine babes gathered on their booth. Very hard work, but somebody’s got to do it eh?

People and Paraws
It was my first Holy Week in Boracay and the place was just crazy! Bars overflowing with people, parties a few walks away from the next, gorgeous hunks and babes parading in their swimwear… who wouldn’t love this? What I love about Boracay is it’s never boring, you can drown yourself in solitude and reflection during the day (walk to the furthermost part of station 1 and swim there) or drown yourself in booze and party ’til the wee hours after. Best of both worlds :)
Serene and quiet beaches are okay, but I’m worried I would eventually go deaf with silence after a few days of stay with nothing to do. Boracay has scenic spots plus more scenic parties. Haha.
I just hope the local government will continue its duty in maintaining the cleanliness and the overall health of the place. Also, it’s important that future visitors will be responsible enough with their trash. Don’t just ditch your cigarettes on the sand, and put your trash in their proper receptacles. :)
More Weewilldoodle in Bora pics here :) Haven’t got the time to upload the rest of our photos. I really saw to it that I documented everything! :p Stayed for four days and bitin pa din :(
I represented Weewilldoodle for Meg magazine’s Young Achievers below 25 for 2007. Grab a copy! Haha :p
Thanks so much to Akira for the scanned images :)

Canon ImageNation Summer 2008 presents new releases of their product lines for the summer! Canon invited numerous people from the media industry to take part of the event, and cover everything that is new with their products and campaigns for the season. Weewilldoodle was invited to add more fun by interacting with the guests and handing them their caricatures as souvenirs. :)
Armed with thin and broad markers, we doodled and sketched as many guests as we could for more than 10 hours! We got a bit woozy for being exposed with the markers for such a long amount of time, but we had fun! Especially after seeing the appreciative and delightful smiles of the guests. Wee! :)
Held at Crowne Plaza last March 12, the doodlers are Julius Sebastian, Jhoan Medrano, Angela Angeles, Brendan Goco, and Mark Ganzon. Canon Image Nation Summer 2008 will continue on March 22, this time around in Boracay! Paolo Ferrer and Nelz Yumul are the two lucky Weewilldoodle kids to take part of this event. Reprezent! Haha!
And now, photos! It’s the first time I brought a camera, so I’m not part of any of this batch’s photos. Hehe :)

Weewilldoodle is one of the exhibitors for this year’s MANILA NOW Philippine International Furniture Show, at SMX Convention Center (SM Mall of Asia) which runs from March 5 to 8.

The Philippine International Furniture Shows (PIFS) are the must-see furniture shows in the ASEAN Furniture circuit. Long considered the Milan of Asia, the Philippine furniture shows have for over thirty years produced outstanding and creative quality furniture and furnishings that are steeped in cultural tradition and diversity.
Manila Now PIFS 2008 renews its aggressive desire to lead the furniture design industry in Asia by moving its show dates to March 5-8 in order to consolidate all the ASEAN furniture shows and make it convenient for the furniture buyers who come every year to Southeast Asia.
Manila Now PIFS 2008 has moved to a new venue — bigger and better — the SM X Convention Center is a 46,647-square meter exposition hall that ensures more exhibitors, bigger booths, and a wider range of furniture and furnishings to choose from.
Manila Now PIFS 2008 beckons you to experience the country’s legendary Filipino hospitality, its warm and friendly people and the beautiful spring weather that makes the Philippines one of the best destinations to visit in Asia. - http://www.pifshow.com/
I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about bloggers revealing the contents of their bags, and I kind of liked the idea so let me share with you what’s inside mine. I’m a packrat, I like knowing I have easy access to things even if I don’t get to use them. Which is silly I know, because I’m lugging around this enormous bag filled with unnecessary junk, when I can just as easily carry a small purse.

I got this bag from a bazaar in Rockwell last year. It’s a doctor bag in patent with a nice quilted design. It’s spacious enough to accommodate all my stuff that I have to bring everyday.

The most important thing in my bag would have to be my ipod. I’d soon die a tragic death if I lost it or forgot to bring it. It has more than 17 gig of music and is packed with a lot of Simpsons and Futurama episodes. It helps keep my sanity during those boring moments of riding the MRT after work or eating on my own before I go home. The notebook is by Pepper Roxas (www.studioroxas.com), a gift from Mark which he bought during the artists’ fair in Cubao-X last December. I doodled and added my name on the cover :) My dad gave me this tear gas spray as soon as the news about the serial killer roaming around the city broke out, he got a little paranoid and scared about it. I’m more scared about how I would go and use it on my attacker. Hehe. And my two primitive phones, which don’t really have much use other than SMS and calls.

These are basically the contents of my “kikay kit”. I don’t use much of the stuff honestly, I don’t even know why I bought a foundation because I don’t really wear makeup, save for a tinge of lipgloss, cheek tint, and the occasional mascara. I guess I just like knowing that I have these stuff with me, just in case. But anyway, my favorite in this group is the strawberry body butter from Bodyshop because of its yummy smell.

Additional contents are the vitamins I take daily and my multi-purpose MNG wallet, another gift from Mark hehe :)
And… that’s it! I guess the rule is I’m supposed to tag someone else with this meme, so I’m tagging anyone who’s bored enough to do it.
